Jack 5000 !

Hello you Blues ! I'm Jack, and I just wanted to tell you a bit about being a Junior Blue. When I found out my dad had joined me up as a Junior Blue I was really excited. Being a Junior Blue means I get exclusive offers and discounts, and get to go to lots of events where I can meet Ipswich Town players.

As the 5000th member of the Junior Blues, I was invited to go to the training ground to meet some of the players and have a tour. It was really fun ! I met Danny Haynes, and had my photo taken with him. I got a Junior blues T shirt which are limited edition ! I saw loads of players walking around, and some of them signed my Town shirt.

On my way home I got a call from ITFC inviting me to be Town’s mascot for their first game of the season (Just one more perk of being a Junior Blue!).

As I live in Wymondham just 8 miles out of Norwich it became newsworthy, and before long Anglia Television asked to come to my house for an interview. Fame at last!

Best of all was Saturday the 11th of August, when I was mascot, and watched the Blues win 4-1. I got to meet lots of players, and some recognised me from my TV interview !

I was a bit shaky going out in front of 23099 people in the crowd, but what an exciting day. I got to take a few shots at the goal keeper, I was given a pennant that all the team signed, and a certificate. The photos will follow soon - I can’t wait!!
